EVENT
The World Ended.
We Kept the Party going.
A weekend long immersive post apocalypse festival of survival, spectacle, violence, music, trade, and bad decisions.
Build a survivor and join one of the Settlements clawing civilization back from the ruins. Spend the weekend living inside the world, trading scarce supplies, running missions, exploring the wasteland, fighting the dead, and deciding who you trust when there is never enough to go around.
By day, the Settlements compete for resources and influence. By night, the lights come on, the music get louder, and the wasteland starts to feel dangerously alive.
Think rusted machines, roadside neon, black leather, scavenged medicine, dirty boots, loud music, desperate politics, and hundreds of people turning an abandoned world into something worth fighting for.
SEPTEMBER 3rd-5th 2027
Wasteland Chronicle is built around competition, community, crossed stories, and very large problems with the undead. Some parts of the map are open to combat, raids, ambushes, and people grabbing resources for the “meta game”. Other areas are for performances, social play, trading, drinking, and simply living in the world without worrying about getting jumped on the way to the bar.
The weekend is designed so you know what kind of experience you are stepping into without knowing the actual story ahead of time. Our Narrative Transparency guide explains how the event delivers conflict, politics, stories, and player driven consequences without spoiling what is waiting for you. Read everything. Read the basics. Skim enough to know where the bathrooms are. Prepare for the apocalypse at whatever level works for you.
F.A.Q.
-
No. There are no “combat numbers,” “skill checks,” or “in-character crafting.” Everything is WYSIWYG, and resources/economy just track your faction’s and city’s score as well as to be used for conflict generation, negotiation, and determining what stories are written about your faction and your city between events. It impacts story, not mechanics.
-
If you are someone who does combat, you do it as both your primary persona and your zombie persona. But if you are non-combat for medical reasons you can just politic, engage in story, do economy, and engage in other ways. Instead of doing your zombie persona you will help with munitions recovery and set dressing.

It is a campground. We do our best with what we have but accessibility details are best found on the property providers site here: https://oldeworld.net/

A game is a physical or mental competition that has rules with the participants in direct opposition to each other. In the end everyone gets the same thing at Wasteland Chronicle: an experience, stories, and entertainment, and an ongoing narrative. So its not as much a game because there aren’t winners and losers. Just different stories and experiences.
